Dependent Reality (Asvatantra)
The reality which is different from and dependent on the Independent Reality (Svatantra Tattva) is called Dependent Reality (Asvatantra Tattva)
It is divided into two categories
Dependent reality could be categorized into chetana, achetana or nitya, nitya etc. But the reason behind categorizing as bhAva and abhAva is that there is a difference of opinion among different schools about the existence of abhAva. So, by categorizing Dependent reality into bhAva and abhAva, the view point of our schools stands firmly stated. Hence there is no reason for any doubt. As there is no conflict among the major schools about the existence of categories chetana and achetana, we have not categorized Dependent reality into cetana and achetana.
